Got my new oven almost figured out

I said I was going to blog about my new oven once I’d gotten to know it better. I couldn’t say much in the beginning because I was too busy trying to figure it out from the manual. And if it’s one thing I really loathe is reading the manual.

I’d rather the guy (the Panasonic guy, in this case) just walk me through the functions. But then again, knowing how much trouble I went to to try and get the salespeople to answer my questions before I bought the thing, I really wasn’t expecting any help at all with how the oven works.

I haven’t used the oven as much as I would’ve liked to. So far, I’ve figured out where the bake, grill and microwave functions are so I basically stopped using the one-touch buttons for everything. So that’s a big step.

So far, I’ve tried microwaving, grilling which is slow compared to my old oven, and combination which I presume is microwave or steam plus bake or grill. I’ve not tried baking yet. I tend to keep comparing it with my old oven which I really love. I still have to get used to this one but at least I don’t have to light with an electronic cigarette.
