I didn’t bake during the holidays. My oven kinda decided to give up the ghost and I was left with the decision of whether to send it in for repair or to run out and get a new one. My kids were disappointed we didn’t get to do any baking. They’d been excitedly waiting to bake muffins, cupcakes and cookies.

One of them was suggesting we bake cookies the size of US silver coins because “they’d be so cute and you could eat them in one pop”. Yes, indeed, whoever would’ve thought to make cookies that small? Not me, but I’m guessing that’s because they would be time-consuming to make.
