seeing the fine print on food labels
Over the festive holidays, my cousins and I were laughing that some of them recently discovered they couldn’t read the fine print food labels and already need reading glasses. A few of them are discovering also that reading glasses can cost quite a bit these days. Yes, indeed!
This led to a lengthy conversation about where affordable quality eyeglasses can be found. Someone mentioned Zenni Optical is able to keep their prices low because they bring you their products straight from the factory, therefore incurring no middleman or advertising costs at all.
No wonder they are able to sell their quality eyeglasses starting at only $8. I really couldn’t believe my ears so I decided to check out this review about them, “Cheap eyeglasses are a reality. Check out Eric’s review of Zenni Optical”, published on Examiner.com.
And it’s true. The best part is the frames are fashionable, durable and comfortable (according to those who’ve worn them), not fuddy-duddy at all, and at that kind of price! Food labels, watch out! We’re going to read you to death, yes, even the fine print you don’t want us to see
. And yes, even those teeny prints they try to squeeze into coupons.

I have great eyesight, but I get frustrated sometimes about food labels. Because some of the products are so small, they try to fit everything on the box. I know some of the medicines have informational inserts, so maybe making the label better might prevent purchasing an expensive pair of magnifying reading glasses. However, I do think it is great that there are companies trying to keep their eyeglass prices low.
By the way, I work as a virtual assistant of The Healthy Moms ( http://www.thehealthymoms.net ), the site is fairly new and I thought I would drop by some mom related sites to spread the word.
