Do you use tongs in the kitchen? I use them for practically anything now because they’re easier to handle than chopsticks when I’m a hurry. Don’t get me wrong, I love chopsticks. They’re so versatile and easy to use but I’m such a klutz I tend to drop one side when I’m in a hurry and don’t look where I’m placing them.
Tongs are stuck together at one end which makes it impossible for me to drop one side and then have to scramble around looking for it while my food is getting burnt
.
I found these Grill Friends Super Silicone Stop-and-Go Tongs, obviously not on www.carinsurancelist.com, but at La Prima Shops. They come in color-coded pairs – Red for raw and Green for cooked – to help prevent cross-contamination. They are stainless steel with beveled silicone tips and side cushions so you can use them even with non-stick cookware.
Do you use kitchen tongs? If so, what kind?
