four foods on Friday 73
I know it’s Thursday and FFOF is supposed to be posted Fridays. I’m somewhat in the dark this week. Where are those Sylvania light bulbs that are supposed to light up over my head like in the cartoons
? Anyhow, I decided wth I’ll post my answers today.
#1. Sarafina’s suggestion. How far would you be willing to travel to satisfy a food craving?
Not very far at all. I’m not crazy enough to drive out for miles chasing down food, no matter how good it’s supposed to be. If I happen to be in the area, fine, otherwise no. Anyhow I don’t get cravings that often
.
#2. Have you ever eaten rabbit? What did you think?
No, no way, I think of rabbits as pets, not food.
#3. Have you ever made your own bread? How?
Yep, by hand. It’s a great workout for the arms, I tell ya
.
#4. Where do you usually spend Easter and what do you usually eat?
I don’t celebrate Easter but once I went out to Easter brunch with a girl friend and her kids (that was in California) and it was really nice.

I admire people who can do the bread by hand. I dump a mix in a machine and 3 hours later…bread!
I think of rabbits more as pets, too.
@anele
Ah lucky you, I don’t have a bread machine *sobs* .
@charla
!
Hmmph, whoever first thought of eating it must have a thing against pets
I imagine that would be quite an arm workout kneading the dough! Never thought of it that way.
@lynne
.
Be warned though, you’re only working out that one arm
I agree, rabbits are pets. If you want to send a get well wish to Val, she has posted about her surgery on her Mom Knows it All blog.
