four foods on Friday 68
Once again, val is spot on with her questions. I woke up sneezing and barely slept a wink two nights ago. Yesterday I had to OD on strong coffee to get through the day. Happily I slept like a log last night and after gym this morning, I’m good as new
!
#1. Coffee. Do you use ground, bean or pods?
None of the above. I only have one cup of coffee a day and that’s during the morning rush when I have to get everyone out the door to work, college and school. So I don’t have time for anything but an instant coffee premix. It’s not the best. I always complain there’s too much sugar in it but …
#2. Coffee filters. Do you use paper, gold or other?
No comment, I don’t brew coffee.
#3. Tea. Do you prefer tea bags, loose tea or something else?
I make Japanese green tea from tea bags, and Chinese tea from loose tea leaves.
#4. Share a recipe for something you like to eat with coffee or tea.
Biscotti would be my first choice. I used to bake them myself but I’ve lost my favorite recipes and am too busy now anyways. If I even get around to making this, I’m happy. It’s quick and needs no recipes.

If you just found yourself answering the above 4 questions in your head, you really should have a go at Four Foods on Friday. You won’t win any pearl necklaces but you sure could learn a lot from the other FFOF players. Go over to valmg’s blog at Fun, Crafts and Recipes and grab the details now.

Yours is the second one I’ve read that said biscotti, which I really like. My mother-in-law introduced it to me years ago. I’d never had biscotti before.
You should check out the biscotti recipe on my post for this! It’s quite yummy!
@charla
.
A neighbor who works in a restaurant gave me 2 bags of biscotti recently. Mmm, yum, cinnamon flavor too, my favorite
@anele
! Can’t wait to try it.
Looking at that picture of your biscotti makes me glad I lost my recipes
I forgot about Biscotti! I recently had some that has me hooked. I had only had Biscotti from coffee places and they were stale.
@karen
See, that’s what I can’t understand about some restaurants. Surely they must know serving stale stuff will only chase customers away?!
That photo looks like an excellent southern breakfast, which, would go very well with a morning cup of coffee!
@lynne
!
This is so easy you’d think I’d have time to make it more often. But most mornings, we’re just slapping butter and jam on toast and everyone’s out the door
Ohh biscotti. Looks like it would be difficult to make from scratch.
