Val sure has me stumped again in question 1. Good thing it’s Thursday night when I’m doing this, not Friday when my brain goes into party mode.
#1. What’s the funniest sounding food or ingredient you know of?
The first time I heard the word calamari, I thought it was something that came from the Kalahari Desert
. Squids in the desert, now that should be funny enough to send the marine biologists diving into the sand.
#2. How do you pronounce “cavatelli”?
Ka-vuh-tell-ee
#3. How do you pronounce “gnocchi”?
Nyock-ee
#4. Share a recipe that calls for mozzarella cheese.
I use cheddar and mozzarella in my spiral pasta bake.
If you’d like to participate in Four Foods on Friday, go over to valmg’s blog at Fun, Crafts and Recipes for details on how to play.

Fave me on Technorati

I love calamari! It’s so funny when you said something about sending those marine biologist diving in the sand *lol*

I’ve tasted calamari before. It’s not anything I would order on my own, but I would have a bite of it if someone else ordered it. I’m not real crazy about it.

I’m not a really big fan either but I’ll eat it if it’s there.

Ugh, whenever I hear the word squid, I think of the chocolate covered squid we tried at Big Island candies. BLECK!
