I’ve had a pretty laid-back week since the kids are on a one-week school break. We have no place to go, so I spending most of my time in the kitchen. It’s kinda fun, haven’t been this relaxed in the kitchen for a long time, it’s always rush, rush, rush!
#1. Turnips. Love em or leave em?
My first instinct is to say leave ‘em. But on second thought, it depends how they’re cooked and how they taste. I like them in spring rolls but not in certain soups.
#2. What’s your favorite roasted dish?
I love roast chicken and pot roast.
#3. Salsa. What kind do you like?
I didn’t know there’s more than one kind. I love them spicy.
#4. Share directions on how to make your favorite quick meal, meaning start to finish in about 30 minutes or less.
Hands down, that would be my painless, meatless spaghetti in red sauce. It’s a real life saver when I’m in a time crunch.

Spring rolls are so good. I haven’t had any in a long time, and after reading your post I’m really wanting some.

Oh! I love a good pot roast! Especially if it’s roasted with potatoes and carrots, maybe even a chopped turnip!

I don’t know what I’d do if there weren’t such a thing as spaghetti

!!
I love pot roast but I’ve never cooked it myself. Still wondering if I should since my kids aren’t keen and it’s a darned huge chunk of beef to have to finish up myself
