Quite honestly, I’ve never tasted nangka, or jackfruit, this good ever. Not that I eat this very often though.
I used to buy a few sticks from the fruit stall near where I worked. They have the fruits ready-cut and bagged, or on a stick, just like a satay or kebab. I like those fruit stalls. It’s fun picking out what I want
.

But this particular nangka fruit, and I’m not kidding, is seriously the best I’ve tasted. Okay, once I had it in my mouth, I just didn’t want to swallow it. Does that give you an idea how good it is
??
It’s very ripe (though I couldn’t tell from just looking at the skin) which accounts for its soft, sweet fruit. In fact, it left its fragrance on my fingers for days.

If I had a bigger garden, I would seriously be throwing one of these seeds out my window and watering it every day. Ah, to have an endless supply of its heavenly taste.
