four foods on Friday #44 – potatoes

It’s time to play Four Foods again. School is back and I’m on the prowl for quick menu ideas again. Potato is our family favorite and I can’t wait to get some ideas from the other FFOF players this week.

#1. Potato Chips. What kind of chips are your favorite?
I love sour cream and onion, spicy, cheesy.

#2. What’s your favorite thing to dip chips in?
I eat my chips plain, no dips. But if I had to choose, I’d say spicy salsa, guacamole and onion dip.

#3. What’s your favorite way to eat a baked potato?
I like my baked potato with bacon bits, sour cream and chives. But when I do them at home, I usually go with corned beef, bacon and green onions and a sprinkling of cheese (if I happen to have some around).

#4. How do you make mashed potatoes?
Slice the potatoes. I used to chunk them but slices cook faster. Boil them up till soft. Mash them up with some butter. Finish off with a generous sprinkle of parsley. I think that’s it  .

If you want to play, go over to valmg’s Fun, Crafts and Recipes, grab this week’s questions, post the answers on your own blog, then leave a link at valmg’s blog and she’ll link you up in the summary later. It’s that easy. Go ahead and give it a go.
