Valmg is back from vacation this week with some appetizer questions for Four Foods on Friday. Just digging up the photos for this post is making me hungry.
#1. What is your favorite appetizer?
It would have to be Friday’s Cheese Nachos with salsa. I mean, can you resist this?

#2. Do you eat enough appetizers that you get full and can’t eat your meal?
Nope, if I’ve ordered a main meal, I’ll be sure and leave space for it.
#3. Do you usually make frozen or fresh appetizers?
We don’t have appetizers unless we’re eating out and the meal comes with it. Otherwise, it’s just the main meal, no appetizers (or desserts).
#4. Share a recipe or instructions for an appetizer.
Go look in my appetizer section of this blog, I’ve got a growing number of recipes there.
But since today is vegetarian day for me (it’s the fifteenth day of the seventh moon on the Chinese calendar), I’ll recommend my favorite vegetarian spring rolls. Enjoy

Talk about the power of persuasion. Now I don’t know if I want nachos or spring rolls for lunch!

Oh! I love spring rolls! Of course, I also prefer ordering appetizers out rather than making them at home.

That’s also why I don’t make appetizers at home. The kids will eat that and then not eat their mains.

Those nachos look like something I would make in the middle of a late night binge! Yum.

Why oh why am I looking at all these FFonF entries when I am hungry? Not smart. Those Nachos look yummy. Do they have cheese on them?

I’ve love to make them at home too but I can’t find nice, whole pieces like those. Most packages come with nachos that are quite badly broken up in the shipping, duh! I wonder what brand Friday’s uses

Yep, I think it’s mozzarella

Oh, I love fresh spring rolls! The restaurant where I pick up take out makes them with tiny shrimp, so good. I clicked over and looked at your recipe, I would have never guessed Chinese radish. Can I buy that at Asian Food Markets?
P.S. would you like to exchange blogroll links?

Would love to exchange links. Got you on my blogroll now. Thanks for asking
Sure you can add small shrimps and/or ground pork. The Chinese radish is the round one. I googled for a photo of it for you but there seems to be a bit of confusion between the Chinese radish and turnip from the photos posted by different people. Apparently the one I’m referring to is the Chinese turnip. I’ve edited my spring roll post to show a photo of it. Sorry about that.

Are they stuffed Nachos? What a great idea!

It’s a layer of mozzarella melted onto nachos and they’re heavenly
