#1. Fruits and veggies. Do you prefer them peeled or not?
To be honest, I never used to mind either way. But since hearing about all those insecticides they spray on crops, I try to peel most of my fruits and veggies, especially if I’m eating them raw.
#2. What’s your favorite fresh fruit or vegetable smell?
I love the smell of freshly-peeled oranges and raw celery.
#3. What’s the worst food smell you’ve ever smelled?
It would have to be Chinese turnips. These are the absolute worst. They stink up the whole house when you cook them, yuck!
#4. Share the recipe for the dish that you love to smell cooking in your oven.
I don’t have time to bake bread any more. So these days, it’s the smell of chicken pies baking in the oven that fills the house. As soon as my kids get in the door from school, they go ‘mmm..’ and poof, all my pies are gone!

Yes, freshly peeled oranges do smell delightful! Then you can get a saucepot and put the orange peels, some whole cloves and a cinnamon stick in 2-3 cups of water and simmer it to fill your house with an amazing scent of Fall. Of course don’t forget to turn it off and check it so it doesn’t run out of liquid.

Brilliant idea, that must smell simply divine. I’ve actually got a spray air freshener that’s orange-flavored

Yes, oranges do smell good. And that chicken pie still sounds good.
