four foods on Friday #32 – the movies
Valmg’s got another great topic for today’s meme – at the movies – and very timely too since I watched 3 movies this past couple of weeks.
#1. What snacks do you eat at the movies? Do you buy them there or bring your own?
For me, that would be popcorn, popcorn and popcorn. Sometimes I think we go to the movies just for the lovely caramel popcorn, so no, I wouldn’t dream of bringing my own.
#2. What’s your favorite food movie, or movie that shows a lot of food?
I love the movie, “Simply Irresistable” about a young woman (Sarah Michelle Gellar) who inherits a restaurant. A rich executive (Sean Patrick Flanery) finds it hard not to fall in love with her after eating the food she cooks with her magic touch. It’s such a romantic movie. I think the title of the movie describes Sean Patrick Flanery (swoon!!) more than it does the food
.
#3. What food or meal do you wish was available at the movies and why?
Popcorn does it for me, thanks, I don’t need anything else.
#4. What’s your most favorite way to make popcorn? Hot, cold, buttered, air, microwave, chocolate, caramel, you get it.
I prefer to buy the microwaveable packs, add my own butter and honey, and gobble it hot
.

Hmm, I think I’ll add that movie to my Netflix!
You’re right… movie popcorn is the best!!
Yeah, Anele, go get the movie, you’ll love it

@deebee
.
Makes you wonder what they put in it
That movie reminds me of the one with Katherine Zeta-Jones where she is a chef. I cannot remember the name of that one. The guy in it was hunky too.
I love popcorn too! Lots of butter and salt. Mmmmmm
@karen
Haven’t heard of that one but I must check it out.
@crafty lady
Who doesn’t?
Another movie I haven’t seen…
Thanks for playing FFOF!
[...] Clair (Chili Queen) likes microwave popcorn with her own honey and butter added and her favorite food movie is Simply Irresistible. [...]
@valmg
It’s a great movie, go watch it. Thanks for your questions.
I haven’t seen Simply Irresistable, but you’ve made me want to check it out. Sounds like my kind of movie!
It’s a movie for hopeless romantics
.
Oh I wish our theater had caramel corn!
@corrin
Ours have a choice of either salty or sweet. I like sweet better.
