four foods on Friday #31 – barbeque

#1. What is your favorite food that is cooked on the barbeque?
Chicken wings marinated really well.

#2. What veggies, if any, do you cook on the barbeque?
I guess it would be corn on the cob. Zucchini and pineapple slices taste really wonderful too.

#3. Tell us a little about your barbeque habits. Who grills, how often, what months, etc.
We hardly ever barbeque because the weather is just too warm and humid all year. I can’t imagine cooking in this heat. I love barbeques though and wish we could do it more often.

#4. Share a barbeque recipe.
For me, a barbeque should be kept as easy and fuss-free as possible. I just make a quick marinade with Heinz barbeque sauce slightly diluted with oil with a dash of wine and chili sauce. You know me, gotta add some spice to life :lol: !

What a great BBQ recipe! Quick and easy, gotta love it!

I haven’t made my own marinade, lots of recipes for it this week so no reason not to now.
Thanks for playing FFOF!
Stumbled.

@anele
Yep, there are apparently lots of great ideas for recipes posted this week so I’m off to check out yours and the others :smile:

@valmg
Making your own marinade is fun and like adding a touch of your personality. I’m off to check out the others. Thanks for the stumble.

I agree on the easy factor. Grilling has that carefree factor that should be maintained.

@tina
Easy sure beats working up the heat and stress levels :lol:

We just bought wings to make this week! I usually make them in the oven, but I’m going to try them on the grill.

@corrin
Mmm yum :smile: . Just watch those wing tips, they burn easily.

Fuss-free, that’s what grilling is all about! There’s no point to it if you have to make a big mess and clean up afterwards! :smile:

@lynne
Somehow cooking outdoors seems to require less cleaning up. Just chuck everything into the bin afterwards :lol: .

Do you put the pineapple in with the zucchini? It sound wonderful.

That is why I love grilling. #1 hubby cooks #2 hardly any mess

@karen
You can either make kebabs by alternating squares of pineapple with zucchini and meat. Or you can separately grill the zucchini and pineapples in slices.
