I’m so excited about this week’s ‘white’ theme questions that I’m posting my answers early
.
#1. What’s your favorite white beverage? If you don’t have one, what’s your favorite beverage with something white in it?
Mine would definitely have to be this silky smooth tofu fa, or soy bean curd (see picture) lightly sweetened with plain sugar syrup. It’s not exactly a drink but you don’t need to chew it
.
#2. What’s your favorite white gravy, sauce, condiment, dressing or topping?
I’m a real sucker for clam chowder. Okay, so it’s a soup but I can’t stop thinking about that piping hot clam chowder in a cup I had on a cold, windy day on Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco. It’s to die for
.
#3. What’s your favorite white item from the refrigerated section?
Eggs. They’re a real life saver. When my mind goes blank and I can’t think what to cook, it’s always eggs to the rescue!!
#4. Share a recipe for something white.
I recently posted my recipe for Pork and Seafood Porridge. So easy to make, so yummy and such a great comfort food.

I’ll have to try your clam chowder and the porridge recipes. I also enjoyed your post on the wontons. Can’t wait to try it!

I LOOOOve clam chowder. We ate it while visiting Fisherman’s Wharf in SF too. It must be the thing to do. That and see the Golden Gate bridge.

I forgot about clam chowder. That is good! My mother used to order it when we’d eat at Red Lobster.
