Okay guys, you got me in a fiesty mood today. It’s Friday (thanks, valmg for yet another reason to thank goodness it’s Friday) and that means the weekend’s here. Yay!

#1. American cheese. Sliced fresh or prepackaged processed cheese product?
Er, not a big cheese fan here. I’ll eat it on whatever I’m having if it’s served to me, but you won’t find me eating it on its own or fighting my kids for that last slice :wink: .

#2. What is your favorite cracker?
Wheat crackers. Gotta have it with coconut jam on top though. I’m posting a picture of coconut jam here (right) so y’all know what it is I’m always ravin’ about :lol: .

#3. What hot breakfast cereal do you like? Think oatmeal, farina, grits, etc.
A cup of hot almond with instant oatmeal makes a really yummy second breakfast for me every morning. By the time I get back from my 2 hours at the gym, I’m just about ready to eat a horse but nah! (firstly, I couldn’t eat such a beautiful animal; secondly, I wouldn’t :lol: ). Gotta love a drinkable breakfast that fills me up with making me feel stuffed.

#4. Share a recipe that uses corn.
I’ve posted an easy-peasy mixed veggie stir-fry here. It’s very easy, very healthy and can be thrown together in a matter of minutes.

Thanks for playing FFOF!
Stumbled.

thanks for popping over to my blog. I agree, after my marathon sessions at the gym I need something fast and nutritious that will keep me going all day! Sometimes I’ll throw a few cinnamon roasted almonds in a baggie and add a little bit of crunch.

I love coconut, but that jam is not very pretty, is it? I guess we’re spoiled, wanting everytihing beautified with artificial colors before we’ll put it in our mouths, lol! That almond/oatmeal concoction sounds yummy. Is that some kind of liquid almond preparation you’re using?

what’s that picture of?

nevermind…coconut jam. never seen it before!

@valmg
Thanks for the stumble :grin: .

@kelly
Hey, great idea, I’m pretty sure I have some almonds somewhere I can roast up in no time, and cinnamon sounds cool too.

@skeet
:lol: Right you are, that’s not the prettiest coconut jam in the world, not sure why the picture turned out so greyish. It’s supposed to be a rich golden brown from the caramelized sugar.
I use powdered almond. It’s absolutely the yummiest thing ever.

@corrin
Skeet is right, that picture doesn’t do coconut jam any justice. After looking at that picture, I’m sure no one wants to even try it :lol: ! But believe me, that picture is a lie, it’s actually sweet and coconuty, very nice combo :lol: .

That coconut jam is interesting!
I’m with you on the cheese part :)

@bunny
Not big on cheese either? Welcome to the club :grin: .

Coconut jams are delicious! [But I only get to eat coconut jam when someone's from Bohol (they make the best coconut jam), and I guess coconut Jams from other parts of the country's expensive.. hehe]

It’s not expensive here, just that you have try them out to find the best ones. Some are too sweet, I don’t like those.
